Fushi-Kashira : aged iron, engraved in relief on a Nanako style background; on a theme of arrows and garland.
Saya : Jackwood, glossy (black then red towards koigushi) smooth lacquer. Kurigata, Kojiri and koigushi are made of water buffalo horn. Filed brass Shito Domes.
All brass, copper and alloy pieces are "lost wax" cast.
